IS THIS THE DEATH OF SNAPCHAT? HERE'S 5 REASONS WHY I THINK SO...

Here's 5 reasons why I think I'm going to start using INSTAGRAM STORIES instead of SNAPCHAT. Why am I going to end my love affair with snap chat and start using instagram stories? Read below to find out! (especially from a business point of view) 

1. LETS BE REAL, GOING BETWEEN TWO, THREE, FOUR DIFFERENT SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS IS EXHAUSTING

and takes a lot of time out of your day. INSTAGRAM stories allows access to the fun 'snaps' and behind the scenes for instant engagement that we all love without leaving our favourite app instagram. So they're already winning by not making us leave the app. 

2. INSTAGRAM STORIES LETS OUR CUSTOMERS WHO ARN'T AS ENGAGED WITH US START ENGAGING WITH US AGAIN.

It endears you even more to the world by showing them the real you. The STORIES are right at the top of the page, they're hard to miss, they're entertaining, they're quick. They show our customers a fun side to your business instead of always having to curate and have the perfect feed. 

3. INSTAGRAM STORIES ARE SUPER USER FRIENDLY.

I don't know about you guys, but I spent a whole 2 weeks figuring out SNAP CHAT and I would constantly see posts on Facebook about "still don't understand how this SNAPCHAT thing works" from people in my generation. INSTAGRAM STORIES is straight up easy.  

4. YOU CAN SEE WHO IS VIEWING YOUR STORY, EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT FOLLOWING THEM!

Everyone loves those little like numbers going up, lets be real! We love it. On INSTAGRAM STORIES you can actually see who is viewing your STORIES. This is a super cool feature! On SNAPCHAT you can only see who is viewing your stories if you're following them. 

5. YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIND COOL NEW PEOPLE ON INSTAGRAM THROUGH THE STORIES.

You can find cool new people through searches, the home feed, name tags and hashtags. SNAP CHAT is a wicked place to grow your business, but ONLY if you post on other social sites that you are actually ON snap chat. This can be time consuming and super annoying to get new followers. 

SO FAR INSTAGRAM STORIES HAS MY HEART AND IT'S NOT EVEN BEEN 24 HOURS.

BUT COME ON LETS TALK HONESTLY FOR A SECOND...

I only go on snap chat for those filters. So INSTARAM if you really want to kill snap chat, get on the filters band wagon. Deep down we're all a bunch of 6 year olds. I literally laugh out loud every time a friend snaps me a filter.
