"a book that is shut is but a block" April 10 2011

I'm in a very elite FUN book club. We meet once a month...well more likely every six weeks by the time we actually finish the book. The 'club' is compromised of only a selective few girls who get in come to the meetings.

These are the only photos I could find of us a year ago

We've been doing it for one year now. It kind of all started after me and my boyfriend who had been together for a few years broke up (tragically in my opinion, but then again I have been known to be a bit of a dramatic).

I was trying to fill the void that he seemed to have left upon his departure....So naturally I started a book club. Lame? No. This 'club' saved me from going into severe depression (heart break is THE worst).

The book club gave me something to do and let me escape through my imagination and reading to a world full of no heart breaks and where knights in shining armour DO exist! They do, they really do...and the best part; they're cute, never hurt your feelings and are always smiling and deathly handsome (insert swoon here ha)

these photos au'naturel.

This month we are reading The memory keepers daughter, before one of our members jets off to Europe for 7 weeks!

Has anyone else read this book? Are you part of a book club?
