a museum hunting we shall go April 18 2012
Spent yesterday inside at the anthropology museum. The first nations exhibits were amazing. Well worth the trip to see the original carvings and totem poles of the northern and southern indigenous people. We hopped on a tour and spent the afternoon wandering around the museum.
The last few days have been rainy, sorry for the no outfit posts.

The next few days are of my road trip to Vancouver island with my mom, dad, younger brother and man friend to Tofino. Easter Weekend never felt was so good. When you spend it hiking through the wildness and staring at the breathtaking vistas.

I am off to Tofino this morning with my family who are visiting from Ontario!
I cannot wait to see Tofino and the cathedral forests. I have heard so much about these ginormous trees!

After a night on the town, what better way to cure anything, then to go for an intense 2 hour hike through the woods? Sunday Funday, right? We did just this thing after our Saturday night soiree. Sunday was an intense 6 hour day, getting to and from, and up and down, the area of Deep Cove.

I started working away again out here. Latest inspiration for the summer is the First Nations jewellery. I found a raven, hand painted piece on the street yesterday from a man who hand carved it. It is so beautiful and is going to be stunning. Can't wait to show you all. Mixed in with a little dream catcher and feathers, paired with a crocheted top or vest and flowy skirt. There has been nothing like Whistler, in these whole 3 months on the west coast. Snow tubing yesterday, Boarding today, zip lining tomorrow... mountain gazing for the rest of my life.
