I have been MIA these past few months! But with good reason! On July 5th, 2010 I was given a second chance. My life was saved by the generous gift of organ donation. I received a double lung transplant that saved my life. I was born with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). A genetic disease that is the most common fatal disease in Canada affecting children and young adults. Finally, I am online with etsy! I have been researching and looking to get on to etsy.comfor months now. Last week I put my first 10 necklaces up on their site. well I've set up my light box to take photos of my jewellery in. i will post a picture of the contraption and all the lights we have strung up around it to create the master piece. It is quite funny.I hope to be getting a new camera when I go to NYC this weekend.
I am also in the market for a sewing mannequin to dress up outfits and jewellery on....if anyone knows of a cheap place to get a used...

World wednesday is a little late this week.
This week features Hattitude in LA (the hills in the background) This is a cute Hattitude necklace. It features a vintage brooch, which is three butterflies. This is a great necklace because it's so neutral and can be worn all the time.

Pleated high waisted pants October 23 2009
My next mission is to find some pleated high waisted menswear inspired pants. Some people are a bit iffy on them, but I have fallen in love with them. I'm not sure whether I will be able to wear them or not a) I'm not tall, I'm only 5'4 and b) I do not have an hour glass figure...so we'll see. I'll have to go scouring the thrift stores this weekend. Actually I doubt I'll have time to this weekend....
